September 1. Memories of a new school year: fresh, crisp-white notebooks, new textbooks to be devoured, reading lists, an array of pens and folders, new school clothes. The familiar smells of school antiseptic and autumn chill, apples then pumpkins.
Since this is a time of new beginnings, I’ve decided to re-launch Literary Debauchery in its original form.My goal is a new writing update per week as well as links to writing posts, book reviews, and maybe some musings here and there.
Starting out small, I’d like to post here a few of my favorite (and short!)writing quotes:
Writing is a socially acceptable form of schizophrenia. ~E.L. Doctorow
If I don’t write to empty my mind, I go mad. ~Lord Byron
The road to hell is paved with adverbs. ~Stephen King
